Information you provide:
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, and password.
- Profile information: Photos, biodata, education, occupation, community (samaj), marital status, height, weight, location, family details, and partner preferences.
- Kundali & astrological information: Information you provide on your profile for matching purposes, including date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and related details used for Kundali compatibility.
- Communications: Messages exchanged with other users through the in-app chat feature.
- Payment information: We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details. When you pay via Razorpay, we receive only transaction-related information such as payment status, transaction ID, amount, plan purchased, and date — sufficient to activate your subscription.
- Support requests: Information you provide when contacting customer support.
Information collected automatically:
- Device information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app version.
- Usage data: Features used, profiles viewed, matches made, and interaction patterns within the app.
- Location data: Approximate location based on IP address or GPS (with your permission) to show relevant matches.
- Log data: Access times, pages viewed, and error logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and matrimonial profile.
- Match you with compatible profiles based on your preferences and community.
- Provide AI-based profile matching and Kundali compatibility suggestions.
- Enable communication between matched users.
- Verify profiles and maintain platform safety.
- Process payments and activate subscriptions via Razorpay (without storing card details).
- Use photos and profile content for marketing and advertising the Service, as described in our Terms and with your acceptance of those Terms.
- Send notifications about matches, messages, and account activity.
- Improve the Service, develop new features, and conduct analytics.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With other users: Your profile information is visible to other registered users according to your privacy settings and match status.
- Service providers: Third-party vendors including Razorpay (payment processing), hosting, analytics, and customer support providers, bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights and safety.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.
- With your consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information.
4. Profile Visibility & Privacy Controls
You control what information appears on your profile. Certain fields may be required for matching purposes. You can update or delete profile information through the app settings. Profile photos and biodata are visible to other users on the platform as part of the matrimonial matching service.
Content you upload may also be used in marketing and promotional materials as described in our Terms of Service. Profile information visible to other users is separate from such promotional use.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes).
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. Payment transactions are completed on Razorpay's hosted page. We follow applicable protocols for secure online payments and do not retain sensitive payment credentials on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and data.

As an NRI-focused platform, your data may be processed in India and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
